WARNING: Tedious what I did at the weekend entry coming up.
Afternoon! I'm going to have to do a to do list.
1. Write Weekend Blog Entry.
2. Do work.
3. Plan menu for dinner on Friday.
4. Ring IKEA to have words with them.
5. Transfer CD's onto work computer.
6. Go home and tidy flat and pack for sleepover tomorrow.
See what a wonderous and varied life I have?
Or not.
Had a delightful weekend. Friday out and about in Camden on the first in a long time sunny and warm (ish) evening. Why we even sat outdoors until closing. Rick & I made one of our classic errors in judgement that is fuelled totally by the desire for more booze and ended up at the Black Cap. Lasted one drink before better judgement got hold of me and left to get the tube home. In a first I bought a kebab on the way home. Note to self: don't do it again.
Saturday Audrey came round and got the grand tour. Hackney City Farm, big walk up towards the canal and Dalston, back down Hoxton Street market, drinks at Zigfrids, curry on Brick Lane and back up to The George for drinks and dancing.
Sunday to Lords 4th day of the 1st Test, England v West Indies. Absolutely delightful day, where I went for a slightly retro theme with a nice striped blue & white blazer (if you're interested). It was sunny, it was cloudy, it rained, bad light stopped play, England batted, the Windies batted, we saw 50's, historic centuries, had a gorgeous Carluccio's picnic (thanks Pen) and Pink Fizz, coffee and fruit tarts, cheered, chatted and generally had a divine day.
And that, my blog, was that.
or was it?
Oh yes went for a last orders at The Ten Bells last night.
*crosses off items 1 & 5 from to-do list*
