Summer Party
Last night we had our work summer party. The missing element of course being the summer. Now I am a big fan of the British summer, forgiving it all it's rain and crappiness, loving it for exactly that, but even I have now tired of it. It had better get better soon or well you'll get another boring weather related post.
The Summer Party involved closing off a driveway between two blocks, putting some marquees up and having a barbecue. Oh and free booze and fairground rides. It was actually rather fun.
We were the first on the dodgem cars, followed closely by some nausea inducing spinny ride and then a coconut shy where two colleagues won coconuts - just ripe for comedy 'bunch of coconuts' photos later.
Of course little did we realise it was the leaving party for our CEO who jumped ship, I mean resigned today.
