*shakes off umbrella*

Well blow me down, it's rained rather alot these past few days. And let me tell you, when it rains it really rains. Mind you.... I've been thinking about this and I think this might be because it looks like a lot when it's falling heavily onto your windscreen.

Either way it's been raining.

Well what have I been doing?

Earlier in the week the entire family & I went to Serpentine, a little town I guess, on the outskirts of Perth. Stayed at what was essentially an old people's home and went for drives. The nicest part was going to Dwellingup which is a lovely little town just south of Perth. It's a timber town, as it were, and amongst other things we went to the Forest Heritage Centre - contain yourselves - and up to the Dam. Mum & I managed to lose the rest of them and found a quaint little coffee shop and ate so much cake we were both feeling ill. :(

Headed back to Perth where Mum & I went to the.... yes, the shops. I bought a Doi Voi Dee and Mum a pair of black trousers. Are you keeping up at the back there? Are you still awake?

In the afternoon I drove over to My Friend Julie's place. Julie has always been known as My Friend Julie on account of there being several Julies of my acquaintance. The other being Mrs W******* and Julie G*** M***** G**** G****. (Names have been protected for no reason other than it makes it look a little more interesting, or not). At MFJ's we had a lovely catch up and ended up taking her kids to the Eagles Football Club so they could get some stuff autographed. Football and the Eagles are a state-wide obession. Not for me of course.

And in closing this evening my Mum & I went to see a theatre production about Deaf people. It was a sort of cabaret all about growing up deaf and what it's like to be deaf. It was very good and also very funny.

Again I am exhausted, I think I'm now getting used to living my life with a fuzzy head and knowing none of it is alcohol related. I am conserving my solpadiene for emergencies now and starting to make local underworld contacts for any kind of upper. *dons blonde wig and puts on silly accent*

Is it wrong to be starting to count the days till I come home?
