AA Reuters: Kununurra, Western Australia
In day old news, a small bird - possibly a magpie - committed suicide whilst I was driving the 4WD back home from Emma Gorge. Said I "I did start to slow down, but then I thought well it's a bird, they fly out of the way. Unfortunately seconds later it threw (flew) itself into the roo bar and then as a final touch, the windscreen."
The magpie leaves behind a whole family of birds hellbent on revenge.
