I think I've finally made a decision about all my crap.... yes that's right I'm not actually going to decide. I'm just going to pack it all away nicely for the next time I come. Poor Dad, his house will never be in order whilst my shit is all over the shop. Mind you I look around his house and see his piles of crap and it makes me look minimalist.

A couple of lovely days I've had. It's probably getting even more boring to read but there is something to be said for a lady who lunches. (Probably something like "do something worthwile with your life you lazy bitch"). Hell just today I've had morning tea with my aunt & one of my cousins (scones & clotted cream); lunch (nibbles & champagne) with a friend, shopped in town (bought expensive earrings - probably got ripped off); visited my father's girlfriends kids - does that make them my step brothers and sister? *eek*. They were, bless them, excited to see me. Which does make one feel a bit special and a bit mean for not having seen them earlier in the visit. Then went to My Friend Julie's place for dinner and more champagne (it was her birthday) and was vastly entertained by her three lovely children.

You may be wondering about my softening of opinions of children but I must say every child I've met here (especially the 6-8 year olds) have been particularly lovely kids. Not too young to be needy and babyish and old enough to have a conversation with. Panic not, however, I still have NO desire to actually have any of my own. (Probably best not to inflict that on the world).

And of course in my version of my job they all think I KNOW the Tweenies & Fimbles. Which is better than them thinking I am a newsreader which is what most of them used to think.
