Sunshine

I have a horrid feeling that these past few clement days may be the last I have until 'summer'. In spite of my imminent trip to Australia, I had a weather update from my best friend down under who said 'it went from summer to winter in a day and is rainy and windy'. Rainy and windy, my default position. Not mine *stares at Phillip* as such but you know the bulk of the UK's.

It being sunny until gone 7.30 is divine, although it does take some getting used to. I forgot to go home from work. Well, I didn't really, I have quite alot to do before I leave but I wasn't spurred on to leave because it was dark and before I knew it it was 7.15 and I was still there.

There will be nights at the pub over the next few weeks where I'll look around, presume it's six-ish and wonder how it got to be 10 but that'll be because I'm watching the amount of light around. God forbid I might actually wear a watch. I do own them, I think they're lovely, but I never wear them, except one that is and it doesn't really work. And no sarky remarks about me loosing track of time because I've had the odd shandy booze.

Four more glorious sleeps. I've got a haircut planned this weekend and am seriously considering booking a sun tanning session to stop the reflective nature of the colour of my legs. Pins that are almost opaque.

Regardless of which, in two weeks, post the scary flight I shall be somewhere in this photo *points down*. On the beach reading if it's cold, in the water boogie boarding if it's not and in the pub if it's late.

I'm all about the positive me.
