There's no need to be afraid.
It's year two of my Christmas ritual. One that involves baying at the moon, I mean some kind of fizzy wine and a tree.
Basically you go out, decide what you're doing decorations-wise for Christmas flat adorning then buy fizz, salmon, pate and crackers and well, crack on with it.
Last year was a real tree, a six foot monster and multi-coloured baubles. This year, due mainly to my imminent departure to the southern hemisphere, I've gone a bit modern. Luckily no one will see it to dispute this but it basically involes a minature white tree; charcoal, white and clear mini baubles and white vases with bejewelled sticks.
It's quite festive if you sit really close to it.
