Happy Halloween

I've just finished making a halloween costume for the Scissor Sisters gig at Brixton tomorrow night and realised, in my obsession to make a shiny highly-flamable dress from some fabulous material I bought at Broadway Market the other week, I've forgotten to make it scary. It's lovely bright greens, pinks and orange in colour and I'm wearing it with a blonde bob wig and pretty pink angel wings. Hardly terrifying. So I put my thinking cap on and as it is slightly 60's in style, and the hairdo is somewhat retro, I'm going as a Dead Pop Princess. Obviously I'm thinking Dusty, but the hair is all wrong. So tomorrow's task will be to find a Dead Pop Princess I can claim to be, make myself look dead (no make up methinks) and hope for the best.

Well either that or the frock goes up in flames. Now that would be scary.

And as a little aside, mainly to remind myself of the things that I've done. In the last week I saw the fantastic Angus McBean exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery. 60 Years of British Art at the Hayward. Frolicked in a fountain, drank myself stupid three times and rode my bike over Southwark Bridge enjoying the view very much along the way.
