Get out credit card.
Buy a ticket to Australia.
Buy a side trip to Sydney.
Put credit card away.
Suddenly very excited about the trip.

Going abroad for work does have some advantages, even if the downside is constant small talk, long days and feeling like you're the most unpopular kid on a school trip. Hey ho. I did go white water rafting and told a journalist that I was condsidering fostering a child for research purposes. *puts child in front of tv*
