Stuck on You.
I don't see as many celebrities as I think I should here in London. Probably because I'm usually not wearing my glasses and I can be somewhat oblivious to what is going on around me at any given time but yesterday I saw a good one.
Embarking on my New Life of cycling (more of that later) I met up with Clare and we cycled the canal path from Islington to Limehouse. Our ultimate goal a pub for lunch. Of course. Arriving in Limehouse and walking smack bang into the Narrow St 'fete' we found ourselves at "Booty's". We locked up our bikes and I rather clumsily walked into a wing mirror of a car outside the pub, giggled to myself and caught the attention of the man on the other side of the car who smiled very sweetly and said hello. I, still half laughing at my stumbling, around also smiled back and said 'hello'.
It was just inside the door of the pub about 5 seconds later that I stage whispered to Clare, "that was Ian McKellen." And promptly spent half of the lunch being very giddy that Magneto had said hello to me.
