Books etc.
I just opened the next book I'm reading and was delighted to see a family tree. So it's a winner of the CWA Historical Dagger for Fiction, is set in the 1800's, is over 480 pages long, set in London and has a family tree.

You didnt give us the title of the book !!! I am in book 7 of a series of 12 all about the colonisation of Aus following a few familys right from the first fleet. Am loving them - and not only do they have family trees at the front - they even have maps - so I have been able to watch Sydney grow from one street - to 20 so far !!! Author is William Stewart Long (but really its Vivian Stuart). Series is called The Australians.
Actually it was kind of a deliberate omission. Which I'm assuming you not identifying yourself was too?
The American Boy by Andrew Taylor.
12 books on the colonisation of Australia. Good lord. Though the family trees do sound appealling.

Hello there. Thought it might have been you but you just never know who lurks on the site. Oh okay, no one really.
Anyway the books sound good though before I even contemplate them, I've got a stack at home to read big enough for a sizeable bonfire. Good lord what am I talking about. It's that Fahrenheit 451 feeling again. Which is one of those books that has (pun intended) burnt itself into my memory.
