Gilligan's Island
I was going to update this regularly whilst I was holiday, however I clearly failed in that task due primarily to the fact that Dad no longer has a phone line at home and consequently no internet. He also doesn't have an iron or hair-dryer. Two things I rarely use but seemed to be in great need of whilst I was gone.
Currently killing time in Sinapore, flight up was okay. Apart from the turbulence and lack of Bloody Marys. I think I slept, though it didn't feel like it at the time and I must confess I am not looking forward to the next 13 hours. I miss the Airbus. Who'd have thought I'd say that after all my carry on before I left. It was fantastic. Well as fantastic as economy can be.
I am standing here (they don't give you chairs so you can't linger on the free internet) with frizzy hair and feeling warmer (it's 28c now and 7.30am) than I did at any point during Perth's 'Wettest April on Record'. Oh yes I can pick them.
Managed to bring back with me 25.7kg of checked luggage, 11.3kg of onboard luggage and just under 5kg of 'handbag'. That's a whopping 42 kilos. You're only supposed to have 20 checked and 7 in hand luggage. That'll explain the rather large amount of money I spent. Amusingly I'm looking forward to hundreds of balls of yarn tumbling out of my bag when I unpack at home later today.
Oh and just for the record I watched St Trinians on the flight up (it was better than anticpated).
