"Oh Jerry, don't let's ask for the moon. We have the stars"

I've decided to start doing some walking, see how I didn't call it exercise, on my way to work. It's fortunate that I have quite interesting streets and things to see and a myriad of different routes to take along the way.

This morning was a very pleasant walk, with the exception of Moorgate (lots of rushing city folk) and it was nice to discover a small mock tudor alleyway and to walk past Guildhall, today all decked out for an event of some sort. I was just about to take a left turn down towards Cheapside and was looking for a nicely named street to do it in. Glancing at the A-Z I saw Milk Lane, I thought ah lovely but then I saw it was essentially a building site. A couple of streets up lay Glitter Lane. I practically sprinted.... well until I saw the sign up close, no it wasn't Glitter Lane instead it was Gutter Lane.

Obviously, I lay down and looked at the stars.
