And the winner is Syddddy.

Awww we won.
And yes I can say that.
It'll be my manor that's going through the upheaval, my council that'll be wringing their hands now at the prospect of more money and they're my views of the Olympic Village.
All mine I tell you, all mine.
*inserts evil laugh*

Although obviously I don't want to pay for it all, um, nor indeed any of it.

The Yay We've Won The Olympics But Londoners Don't Have To Pay For It campaign starts here.

It's only 20 quid a year per household though, and there'll be loads of sexy swimmers in your manor, plus Crossrail and stuff. I am thrilled and delighted and saving for tickets already. Through tickets I will probably pay more than London c-tax payers.

Typical - per household - us singletons paying more than our share again.

I don't mind paying, so long as it's reasonable. And I too am very much looking forward to the Olympics. Do you think we'll get free tickets being Tower Hamlets residents?

Thought not.

So that's the annual charge and buying tickets, I'm paying more, I win. ;)

Hey luvie. No idea if you are actually at work reading this - but we have london on the ABC, 7 and 9 - live. Good ole 10 has stuck with Big Brother!!. Hope you are nowhere near any of the affected trains or stations or buses - it looks dreadful. Just wanted to let you know I am thinking of you. Hugs Karina xxxx PS congrats on winning the olympics.

Hello Karina, just to let you know that I got a text message from Adriana earlier today, she is fine and I think staying safe at home. Katie x

Hi Katie. That was sweet of you to put the message up. I thought of Adriana and everyone over there today while at work and came home to a reassuring email from Ms A. A big PHEW. Take care over there gals. Avoid boxes and bags without owners. karina xxx
