Great Expectations - Bite Sized for your enjoyment.

I've started reading Great Expectations. (Nor David Copperfield. Come to think of it I've never read any Dickens.)

No sir, none.

Pip, our hero, is living a hard unloved life being "raised by hand" (well except by Mr Joe - no, not in that way) and has helped an escaped convict by providing him with food. Pip is wracked by guilt though. Poor Pip. He's going to school too, learning to read and write. Slowly does it. But lo! What's this? Mr Pumblechook is taking him to Miss Havershams to play. To play you ask? Indeed to play. He's never been away from Mr Joe before. What will happen next?
