Tickets, Money, Passport?

For all the frivolity in life, the celebrities and the non-entities who clammour for fortune and fame, it is inspiring to read about people who really did make a difference. I know they're still out there now, unsung and unknown, inspirational and humbling.

Read this extract from Gordon Brown's new book, I thought it was utterly fascinating. There are so many people whose names you'll never know. Or rather more particularly, names I never knew. Damnit I might even buy the book.
