Stop Oh yes Wait a minute Mr Postman

I am so far behind it's ridiculous. There is a bizarre correlation between me being busy at work and busy out of it that for once I had stuff to say but I had no time to do it on the blog.

That hasn't changed especially but I wanted to note that today when I got home from work/impromptu dinner with colleagues following a screening. (Details of which I can't elaborate on because I will be fired.) I found two large boxes outside my door. Which is a good thing because I wasn't going to be arsed going down the post office to collect their collective 35kilos of weight (you do the conversion to imperial) but not a good thing because someone else could have benefited from my goodies.

Goodies that have included:

An Akubra
Some books I have read
Some pictures I may not actually hang
Some crockery that belonged to my great grandmother
80's clothes
About 30 LP's
And 10 7"'s
A couple of posters
A painting I once did
My baby album
My parent's wedding album
School assignments
And pictures my neice and nephew drew for me
More glassware
A cordless telephone circa 1996
and to top it off, some fabric.

Go figure, these are the things I decided to pay a reasonable amount of money to send back to London.

*puts on Akubra, plays Duran Duran record and dances around in jumpsuit*

Gosh it was trusting of you to leave such treasures in the hands of Australia Post ! I would have paid for excess luggage and taken it all back in a suitcase and trusted airline handlers more !!!! What fun boxes they must have been to open tho !!! ciao KT xxxx
