Juno
Nicky and I went and saw this earlier, it was fab. I want to say aces but I've been saying that alot lately and think perhaps there's a bit of sounding mutton v lamb going on so I'm going to stop.
It really was very good. Soundtrack was brilliant, Ellen is fantastic, in fact there's not a dud in the cast and even though it seems an odd premise it works. It's funny, poignant and only slightly sentimental. Which when you're dealing with a narrative that invovles a pregnant 16 year old is quite an acheivement. I mean, of course, what teen talks like she does. Oh that they were that cool and sorted, oh that I was now and I left my teens behind long before I even knew I had.
Oh bollocks I missed the opening of the BAFTA's. Stupid blog.
