London Fields
My favourite named park in London is the lovely London Fields. It was through here that I walked on Saturday after a disappointing trip to Hackney, where I was reminded again why not to go to Primark. The stuff might be cheap, but on the whole it's crap. I had gone to buy material for a skirt, which they didn't have at the fabric store across the road when lo! Primark had similar(ish) skirts for sale for the bargain price of £6. Well you can't make 'em for that price. Well apparently you can, but they're shoddy, ill-fitting and the whole store is manned by teenagers more intent on standing around aimlessly. *applies to join Grumpy Old Women*.
The day took a decidely more pleasant turn when I found myself taking a turn in the park just a few minutes later. It is small but made all the more pretty by the blossom trees in full bloom.
